Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of familimovie.com and the Familimovie photo-to-video montage service (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your Google account secure. Please let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. The Service

The Service lets you upload photos and music and generate video montages. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time, and we may set limits (such as file sizes, formats, or usage rates) to keep the Service running well for everyone.

4. Your content

You keep all ownership of the photos, music, and other content you upload, and of the videos we generate for you (“Your Content”). To operate the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, reproduce, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you (for example, to render your montage and show it on your account page).

You represent and warrant that:

  • you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to upload and use Your Content, including any music and any images of people; and
  • Your Content does not infringe anyone’s rights or violate any law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload content that is illegal, infringing, or violates the privacy or rights of others;
  • upload unsupported or malicious files, or attempt to circumvent file-type, size, or rate limits;
  • disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems; or
  • use the Service to build a competing product.

6. Intellectual property

The Service itself — including the Familimovie name, logo, software, and design — belongs to us and our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our branding or software except as needed to use the Service.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (including Google for sign-in, Vercel for hosting, and Amazon Web Services for storage and rendering). Your use of the Service may also be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated videos will meet your expectations. Keep your own copies of important files.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Familimovie will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Familimovie harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from Your Content or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we need to for legal, security, or operational reasons. You can request deletion of your account and data by contacting us.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your state/country], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
